ARK CIC – Inspiring change
We believe, as a business we have a social responsibility towards our clients, candidates and the communities we work within! So, we’ve funded and setup a not for profit social enterprise (“Social enterprises are businesses which trade for a social purpose that reinvest or donate over half their profits to further this social or environmental mission”)
Established in 2018, ARK CIC is the UK’s first dedicated not-for-profit Public Sector Recruitment Consultancy.
Pride & Purpose
We’ve vowed to use our trading surplus (profit) to provide free and subsidised learning, development and life enhancing opportunities for our jobseekers, clients and communities. We support and partner with various local and international community groups who deliver support services, employability training and entrepreneurship programmes for young people, vulnerable women, refugees and other hard-to-reach groups from deprived communities. Quality & Transparency
In 2019, ARK CIC were the UK’s first and only Social Enterprise Recruitment Consultancy to pass an external quality audit and be granted membership with APSCo (the Association of Professional Staffing Companies) the trusted professional body representing recruitment businesses in the United Kingdom (sadly we did not renew our membership this year).
We are equally proud to be a certified social enterprise member with SEUK (Social Enterprise UK) the leading global authority on social enterprise and the biggest network of social enterprises in the UK.
