You will play a pivotal role in driving academic excellence, staff development, and school improvement, working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the school Principal.

The Role
As Vice Principal, you will:
- Direct and oversee staff and student activities to ensure a safe, orderly, and effective learning environment.
- Support and manage the school’s annual assessment and monitoring schedules.
- Collaborate with the Principal and SLT to supervise and evaluate teachers, curriculum staff, and supervisors.
- Lead recruitment, interview processes, and onboarding for teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Implement school improvement plans, student achievement strategies, and assessment programs such as MAP/Exact Path.
- Coordinate professional development (CPD) programs to enhance teaching quality and staff performance.
- Work with external agencies, parents, and stakeholders to maintain student welfare at the highest standard.
- Contribute to policy development, budget management, and school-wide strategic initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or BA with relevant teaching qualification (essential)
- Master’s Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or professional leadership qualification (desirable)
Minimum Experience:
- At least 6 years teaching experience, including 4 consecutive years of outstanding teaching performance
- Minimum 2 years in middle leadership roles
- Experience leading school initiatives that improved standards and achievement
- Experience working with parents and external agencies
Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:
- Outstanding teaching across ability ranges
- Experience leading whole-school initiatives and performance management
- Senior and middle leadership experience in international schools
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
