Aldar Education is seeking a motivated and skilled Math Teacher to join Virginia International Private School in Abu Dhabi for an immediate start. Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Learning
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Math lessons that inspire students to succeed.
- Plan and prepare creative sessions that meet curriculum requirements and cater to a diverse range of abilities.
- Motivate students through imaginative teaching, ensuring progress across all key stages.
- Integrate school values and the Teacher & Learner DNA into daily lessons.
- Use assessment data effectively to shape instruction and support student achievement.
Collaboration and Community
- Work closely with fellow teachers to plan cross-curricular learning experiences.
- Develop strong, positive relationships with parents, colleagues, and support staff.
- Contribute to extra-curricular activities (ECA) and wider school life, including events and trips.
Assessment and Progress
- Track student progress accurately using school systems such as Target Tracker.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to students and parents through conferences and reports.
- Adjust teaching strategies to support learners with varying needs and abilities.
Behaviour and Classroom Management
- Maintain an orderly, respectful, and supportive classroom environment.
- Uphold the school’s behaviour policy, serving as a role model of values, discipline, and responsibility.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a Math specialisation or a Bachelor’s in a related field with a PGCE.
- Proven teaching experience in Math, preferably in an international or British curriculum setting.
- Strong subject knowledge aligned with curriculum standards.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to collaboration, innovation, and continuous professional growth.
