Aldar Education is seeking an inspirational KG Homeroom Teacher to join Virginia International Private School (VIPS) in Abu Dhabi from October 2025. Key Responsibilities
The KG Homeroom Teacher will:
Teaching & Learning
- Deliver engaging, imaginative lessons that inspire children to succeed and achieve their best.
- Design and implement creative learning experiences aligned with the KG curriculum.
- Organise the classroom environment and create displays that foster curiosity and a love of learning.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners, including EAL students.
- Assess, track, and reflect on student progress to inform future planning.
Collaboration & Communication
- Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Work closely with fellow teachers and curriculum support staff to plan and deliver effective lessons.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, both formally and informally.
Student Development & Well-being
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment.
- Motivate students through enthusiasm and active engagement.
- Support wider student development, including extra-curricular activities and community events.
Behaviour & Leadership
- Uphold the school’s behaviour policy, encouraging independence and self-regulation.
- Model positive values, attitudes, and behaviours consistently.
- Actively contribute to the wider life and ethos of Virginia International Private School.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Early Years / Primary) OR Bachelor’s in another field with a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
Experience & Skills
- Clear understanding of the Early Years curriculum.
- Minimum 2 years’ teaching experience (KG/Primary preferred).
- Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to collaborate in a diverse, international school environment.
