GEMS Wellington Academy, Silicon Oasis (WSO) is seeking an outstanding and experienced Secondary English Teacher to join its dynamic teaching team from August 2026. The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Teach English at KS4/KS5 level (or equivalent)
- Adapt learning to meet the needs of all learners
- Incorporate creativity, innovation, and evidence-based pedagogy into lessons
- Build strong, positive relationships with students
- Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programme and community events
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure student success
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Hold a BEd or Bachelor’s degree with PGCE / PGDE (or equivalent)
- Have proven experience teaching English at secondary level
- Demonstrate creativity, enthusiasm, and a reflective teaching approach
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Be committed to career growth in a world-class international school
- Show willingness to actively contribute to the wider school community
